Machined component:
The assembled component is the engine crankshaft, onto which, depending on the type sprockets or gears must be hot pressed.
The assembly line consists of automatic stations.
The wheels are transported on a conveyor to a pickup location, from where a robot transfers them to the feeding grips.
The wheels are heated by induction heaters, then pressed on by presses.
The shaft arrives at the station from another direction on pallets and is pressed on after being lifted.
After pressing, it moves to the next operation, where the machine checks the bond strength and dimensional accuracy of the pressings.
The assembly line includes two post-processing stations, one for the gear and one for the sprocket.
