The machined component:
Assembly of the electric car’s cable side charging connector.
The assembly line consists of automatic stations.
The piece for assembling is moved on pallets. At a station the operator moves the piece into the automatic station, while elsewhere the piece is moved automatically from the pallets or the pallet is moved automatically into the station with the piece.
The piece proceeds on the line following the steps of the technologycal process.
Labeling, stripping the outer sheath of the cable, inserting grommets.
The shrink tube fed by the oscillating feeders and the sws tupe moved by the robot is put on the pallet.
The resistance is threaded by the operator and the machine will carry out the stripping.
Then the machine measures the resistance.
In the next step, another operator threads the other cables, placing shrink tubing on the cables, clamps onto the pallet (with the use of a manual press).
The terminal pieces are crimped onto the cable in 3 steps, then the process is completed by heating the shrink tubing.
There is a lift at the end of the line, the pallets return underneath the line to the feeding point, and the operator will remove them.
